| Computer Crap |

Broken piece of crap for crap.
So my computer broke today. It was working fine last night and this earlier I turned it on, and there was a weird smell, no smoke was coming out, thankfully but the smell only lasted for a few seconds.
Then the stupid excuse for a computer would not recognize any of my hard drives, or my floppy drive. It only recognized my CD ROM drive. I changed the cables around and still only the CD ROM drive. The computer is only 3 months old and is still covered by the warranty, but the people who I got the computer from are from my home city in another state. And it would cost me 80 bucks for me to ship it to them. So I took it to a computer place here and for 35 bucks they will try to find out the problem, and then I will decide what to do.
If it requires something big, I will just have to take it with me back home this December, so until then I will be without a computer and totally relying on the computer labs here at school. Oh well faster connection, but that means I cannot download anything, or work on my websites or anything. Rawr.

Well I am working on my new website, it will have Movable Type on it, which is a blogging software tool thinger.

Should be up within the next couple of weeks. Thats where I will probably be journaling
Stinks though, I wasted money on this site, and I lost my passion for it. I bought a couple rename tokens for my EAs that I dont even use anymore, that stinks too.
ah well, maybe I will give them to any close friends of mine who I know will use them. |

Okay so the past few days have been hectic...
Between my family coming in from out of town-The Convocation we have been having at chapel (a revival like service where we have chapel every night for 4 nights)-and getting all my grades back it has been crazy.
Convocation:
It has been really good. The first night was okay, the speaker is somewhat of a yeller. Not the kind of preaching style I prefer, but the 2nd night I had a wonderful release of all the things I have been struggling with. God really helped me let go of some things and he reminded me that he is helping me through my struggles...Praise Him!
Family:
I have been hanging out with my family a lot, going out to eat, and today I am going to the mall. I am happy about that.
Grades:
I am SO happy with my grades, It really surprised me how well I did:
Pyschology: 78 on Exam 1 <--- Not too bad, but I will do better the next exam, it was hard
Communications: 90 on Exam 1 <--- Wish it was higher, but its an A
New Testament: 93 on Exam 1 <--- A SUPER hard exam, so I am so excited, I thought I failed!
History: 97 on the Paper <--- I hated that paper! I pulled it out of my butt, and could care less about the Puritan Family, This almost made me faint!
Computer Information Systems: 98 on Exam 1 <--- Kind of a challenging exam, so I am uber excited! |

So I am seriously trying to make time to write on this site.
I feel bad for now writing here since I paid for this account.
And now I have 4 early adopter accounts I have not began using yet. Which I bought a couple rename tokens for. Rawr. I wish I had not wasted my money on them.
Anyway, I am in class right now, joy joy for excel.

| Oui. Its been a while |

So it has been a long time since I have updated. I will begin updating now that there is stuff going on in my life
I went to the lake with my suite mates yesterday. One of my suitemates grandparents owned a lake house (which was huge and beautiful) there. We played on the wave runner (in less than 60 degree water with it being 70 degrees outside) and we froze to death. but we had a great time anyway. Anyway, I need to go back and study, will be updating more later. |

Okay,
So I was too lazy to actually put a real post up.
I think I will really write a good post now.
This past week has been really good, but really crazy. I think I will do fine in my classes, I love the challenge again. I really did miss the challenge of school.
I need to remember to drop my meal plan from 15 meals a week to 10 Monday, its the last day to change it (Memo to self)
I watched Tap Night, it was kind of morbid watching how the frats and the sororities choose their people, they march around in their group and will pass a person over 15 times before they go up there and tap them (meaning they have been chosen for the club) I stood with my friend Amy who was rushing Omega, and she got passed up so many times, and was finally tapped, she was so happy.
I think I may rush for a sorority next semester I am unsure.
I do know I want to be an RA next fall, and I want to become a Dorm Chaplain when I am a junior.
My plans are if I can get my school payed for by scholarships/grants and if I can save up at least half of the cost of it, and be able to make payments I am going to get my truck in 3 years.
My Chevy Colorado. Whoo Hoo! I am so hoping that everything works out and I am able to get one. I love my Silverado, but its really gas inefficient.
Oh, I love my roomate, she rocks. but I think I have said that already. She wont be here next semester which stinks, but I think I am going to try to get into Sharp or Davis Hall. Where they have better dorm rooms. We will see.
Oh...here be the truck I am going to get!

| Crazyness! |

Rawr. That is what you call craziness. That is what this whole day has been like.
So I get up at 7:45 to get ready for class, because I had to go see if they had my history book in, which they did, so I went and got it.
Then I had my psych class, and even though Stephanie and I are in the same class, it was so hard to stay awake. I am not sure what it is about Dr. Conn, but he sure does have a monotone voice when talking about Psychology. So that was horrible, then had chapel and the praise and worship was awesome. But again, I had a hard time staying alert during Dr. Conn's mini bible study. I don't know what I am going to do, I really need to figure out better sleeping habits or something because those two things are very important.
My Communication class was great, I like the proffessor, and the class itself is very interactive. I have a bunch of speeches coming up. Joy.
I had lunch, which was decent and then noticed that they leave the dry cereal out for lunch also, so I had my favorite lunch. A Bowl of Corn Pops.
I ran around the whole campus trying to figure out where I could get something stating how many hours I have. Since I transferred, my transfer classes are not in the computer yet, so there is no way to show how many hours I have. I have to give my RA proof that I have over 26 hours so I don't have curfew. I finally was sent to get a copy of my transcript, and all is well. I will not have curfew. Thank GOD!
Well, my New Testament and History courses are next, and then I am done for the day and will have a good supper at Famous Dave's BBQ with my family I visted in KY. They are down in Chattanooga visiting his parents and his family. So...yay.
I want to sleep. But I better not. I have class in 30 minutes. |

Well...its official. Dorm Meeting stink. *lol*
There was one highlight of the evening though. I found out I don't have Curfew!!!
They changed the policy back to the way it was last semester, that people with 26 hours or more do not have curfew, they were going to implement the new 30 hour rule, but are waiting until next semester, and then it won't apply to me :)
I got my new palm pilot! My Full Color Sony Clie SJ22. I am happy about that too.
Classes start tommorow, I have a very full day, I am kind of nervous, but what can I say. School is School. I better go to bed now, I need to finish off these spagetti o's. |

Well, I am quasi looking forward to heading back to school.
Tommorow morning I am getting my new palm pilot. I am looking forward to finally getting it. After researching a bunch of different ones I have settled on the Sony Clie PEG-SJ22. I was going to get the SJ33 but I don't have the money to shell out 40 bucks more, and than 70 bucks additionally for a memory stick so I can use the mp3 player on it. Oh well, I don't need a mp3 player anyway. So I am going to shell out about 179 for it tommorow. Joy.
I head back to TN tommorow afternoon, just in time for my dorm meeting. Joy again. and my first class is thursday. We are going to try to go to the Teleco River Friday, my Roomate Steph is hopefully coming along, we are going to go diving off the falls, its going to be great.
So yeah, I can't think of anything else going on right now. |

Well, I am somewhat of a nomad this week.
I registered this morning and got all the classes I wanted...
Psychology
Exploring the New Testament
Fundementals of Human Communication
History
Computer Information Systems 102
I got all my books except my history book...for some odd reason the professor has not declared what book she wants to use. And classes start this Thursday.
oh well. Books cost me 218, and I am guessing my History book will cost about 50-80 bucks, so I was right to think it would be in the 300 dollar range.
I am here in Kentucky seeing my dog, and my family and I will be heading back to school Wednesday afternoon. Its only a 5 hour drive, so its not too bad. |

So everything has been amazing here so far.
My roomate and I click, and we are decorating our dorm room like crazy. She is so cool, and we get along great.
While we were shopping at Target my mom calls to tell me to call my Dad tonight. My Dad just got back home from driving from my school earlier today.
I asked her why, and she said she came home and he was curled up on the bed holding my picture (I have a picture frame that has all my school pictures in grade order, so you can see how I grew) and was crying, saying that he missed his baby.
It tore my heart out of my chest. Is it supposed to be this hard? My Dad never cries. I have seen him cry when my Great Grandfather died, and when I left for Kentucky, but thats it. I have never seen him cry since then. And he cried when he left, and cried today. I don't know what to do, my Mom has been crying too. But...*sigh* Maybe I should not have left this far, but I would have to leave some day. I just wish this was so much easier than it is.
I don't want my Parents to hurt...I don't know how to make this any easier on them. |

| I am Here! |

Well! I am here at school now! Being that this is a fresh start for me, and my spiritual life, I have decided to make this journal un-friends only. So it will be public again. I would still like to keep everyone on my friends list though :)
Anyway,
I got here Thursday night, stayed in a hotel, and moved in Friday morning into my ITTY BITTY dorm room. Its small, but its the perfect size for me and my stuff...for now.
My roomate will actually not be here until later tonight, so I have been alone for the past couple of days.
I told my Dad bye today, it was really rough, he cried when he left again. Its hard seeing him cry, because he rarely does it.
I am saving up to get a colored palm pilot. 179 bucks is how much the Sony Clie one at Best Buy Costs. I a hoping to sell my old one (I am advertising it on my board on the dorm door for 40 bucks) Its practically brand new. Its a Handspring Visor Deluxe, Ice Colored.
Like that is interesting to anyone here. Anyway...Things are great, I am looking forward to getting involved. Huge adjustments...but I am looking forward to it. |

I really cannot wait to move out of San Antonio and get up north. Why?
108 degrees. Thats how hot it is right now. yes. I am tired of this place.
Tired of the Traffic, of always driving around, of feeling like I am forever busy, and forever stressed.
In Kentucky it was carefree, I didn't drive much, I liked it.
I can't wait to get to Tennessee.
